Konsep industri hijau sendiri merupakan pilar utama dari Green Growth yang menjadi tren Global sehingga pemerintah Indonesia menetapkan Standar Industri Hijau (SIH) melalui peraturan menteri perindustrian No.51/M-IND/PER/6/2015. Dalam mendukung industri hijau, WIKA Beton menjalankan program dekarbonisasi yang diinisiasi oleh WIKA Group dengan cara memanfaatkan energi surya sebagai energi terbaharukan dalam operasional produksi di sejumlah pabrik beton, salah satunya melalui Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Dalam penerapannya, Pabrik Produk Beton (PPB) Bogor dan PPB Majalengka menjadi pilot project dengan cara: 1. Menggunakan panel surya untuk penerangan lampu jalan dan penerangan di area stockyard pabrik beton. 2. Memasang PLTS di PPB Bogor dengan kapasitas 440 kWP dan PPB Majalengka dengan kapasitas 242 kWP. Harapannya, program ini dapat mengurangi emisi CO2 dari sumber energi dan dapat mengganti sistem yang bergantung pada bahan bakar fosil dengan sumber daya rendah karbon. In realizing the green industry concept, WIKA Beton is implementing the decarbonization program in a number of concrete plants. The concept of green industry itself is the main pillar of Green Growth that has become a global trend, leading to the establishment of Green Industry Standards (SIH) by Indonesian Goverment through Minister of Industry Regulation No. 51/M-IND/PER/6/2015. To support the green industry, WIKA Beton is carrying out the decarbonization program initiated by WIKA Group by utilizing solar energy as renewable energy in the operations at a number of concrete plants, one of which is through the Solar Power Plant (PLTS). In its implementation, Bogor and Majalengka Concrete Plant (PPB) have became pilot projects by: 1. Using solar panels for street lights and lighting in the concrete plant stockyard area. 2. installing PLTS at PPB Bogor with a capacity of 440 kWP and PPB Majalengka with a capacity of 242 kWP. The hope is that this program can reduce CO2 emissions from energy sources and can replace systems that depend on fossil fuels with lowcarbon resources.
