Annual Report 2024 Laporan Tahunan > PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk 159 Fungsi Penunjang Bisnis Business Support Function Tata Kelola Perusahaan Good Corporate Governance Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan Social and Environmental Responsibility Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan Social and Environmental Responsibility Selanjutnya, Perseroan dinamakan “PT Wijaya Karya”, berdasarkan Akta Perseroan Terbatas No. 110 tanggal 20 Desember 1972 yang dibuat di hadapan Dian Paramita Tamzil, pada waktu itu pengganti dari Djojo Muljadi, S.H., Notaris di Jakarta dan Perubahan Naskah Pendirian Perseroan Terbatas “PT Wijaya Karya” berdasarkan akta No. 106, tanggal 17 April 1973 yang dibuat di hadapan Kartini Muljadi, S.H., Notaris di Jakarta, yang telah disahkan oleh Menteri Kehakiman Republik Indonesia dengan Keputusan No. Y.A.5/165/14 tanggal 8 Mei 1973, serta telah diumumkan dalam Berita Negara Republik Indonesia No. 76 tanggal 21 September 1973, Tambahan Berita Negara Republik Indonesia Nomor 683. Pada awal pendiriannya, kegiatan usaha yang dijalankan WIKA adalah pekerjaan instalasi listrik dan pipa air, sebelum menjadi perusahaan kontraktor sipil dan bangunan di tahun 70-an. WIKA juga turut berperan serta dalam proyek pembangunan Gelanggang Olahraga Bung Karno dalam rangka penyelenggaraan Games of the New Emerging Forces (GANEFO) dan Asian Games ke-4 di Jakarta. Tahun 1982, WIKA mendiversifikasi usahanya secara signifikan melalui pembentukan beberapa divisi baru, yakni Divisi Sipil Umum, Divisi Bangunan Gedung, Divisi Sarana Papan, Divisi Produk Beton dan Metal, Divisi Konstruksi Industri, Divisi Energi, dan Divisi Perdagangan. Dengan semakin banyaknya proyek yang ditanganinya, maka semakin banyak anak perusahaan yang didirikan sehingga WIKA tumbuh menjadi perusahaan infrastruktur yang terintegrasi dan saling bersinergi. Dalam bidang konstruksi, sejak 1997, WIKA mulai mengembangkan diri dengan mendirikan beberapa anak perusahaan mandiri yang mengkhususkan diri dalam menciptakan produknya masing-masing, yakni WIKA Beton, WIKA Intrade, dan WIKA Realty. Keberhasilannya dalam mencapai pertumbuhan yang cukup pesat mendapat apresiasi yang tinggi dari publik. Pada 27 Oktober 2007, WIKA melakukan Penawaran Saham Perdana ( Initial Public Offering/IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan melepas 28,46 persen saham ke publik, sementara sisanya masih dipegang Pemerintah Republik Indonesia. Selepas memperoleh dana dari IPO, WIKA semakin leluasa untuk tumbuh dan berkembang. Langkahlangkah inovatif semakin mudah diwujudkan. WIKA pun tetap kokoh tatkala menghadapi berbagai krisis, baik krisis global maupun nasional. WIKA terus mengembangkan kemampuan Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). Pasarnya diperluas hingga ke mancanegara. WIKA tak pernah melewatkan kesempatan menggarap proyek-proyek menantang, baik dari swasta maupun Pemerintah yang pendanaannya berasal dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN), maupun Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD). Salah satunya adalah Jembatan Suramadu yang menghubungkan Pulau Jawa dan Madura yang manfaatnya kian dirasakan oleh seluruh penduduk Jawa dan Madura. Di tahun 2014, WIKA hadir dengan paradigma baru. WIKA mengklasifikasi ulang segmen bisnisnya menjadi 5 (lima) pilar, yakni Industri, Infrastruktur & Gedung, Energi dan Industrial Plant, Realti dan Properti, dan Investasi. Posisi WIKA pun semakin mantap sebagai salah satu pemain di industri kelistrikan dan migas berkat kontrak-kontrak baru di industri tersebut yang berhasil dimenangkannya. Tahun 2015 menandai dimulainya babak baru WIKA dengan menggarap proyek infrastruktur berskala mega. Proyek ini tak hanya menantang, namun mempertaruhkan nama baik Bangsa, yakni proyek MRT ( Mass Rapid Transportation) Jurusan Bundaran HI-Lebak Bulus di Jakarta. On its establishment, WIKA’s business activities were electrical and plumbing installation work, before becoming a civil and building contractor company in the 70s. WIKA also participated in the Bung Karno Sports Center development project, organizing the Games of the New Emerging Forces (GANEFO) and the 4th Asian Games in Jakarta. In 1982, WIKA significantly diversified its business through the establishment of new divisions such as General Civil Division, Building Division, Housing Facilities Division, Concrete and Metal Product Division, Industrial Construction Division, Energy Division, and Trade Division. As more projects undertaken, more subsidiary companies were established and WIKA grew into an integrated and synergized infrastructure company. In the construction business started in 1997, WIKA began to expend by establishing some independent subsidiary companies for specialized products, namely WIKA Beton, WIKA Intrade and WIKA Realty. Its ability to grow quite rapidly gained a high appreciation from the public. On October 27, 2007, WIKA conducted an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange releasing 28.46 percent of its shares to the public, while the Government of the Republic of Indonesia held the remainder. Having obtained funds through the IPO, WIKA had more flexibility to grow and develop itself. Innovative measures were more easily realized. WIKA stood strong when facing various crises, both global and national. WIKA continued to develop its competencies in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). As its markets extended to foreign countries, WIKA never passed up any opportunity for investment in, and development of challenging infrastructure projects, whether private or government projects financed by the State, as well those in the Local Budgets and Expenditure. One of which was the Suramadu bridge that connects Java and Madura Islands providing many benefits to the people. In 2014, WIKA developed a new paradigm. WIKA restructured its business segments into 5 (five) pillars namely: Industry, Infrastructure & Building, Energy & Industrial Plant, Realty & Property, and Investment. By obtaining new contracts in the power generation and oil and gas sectors, WIKA further solidified itself as one of the players in the industry. 2015 marked the start of WIKA’s new era with mega infrastructure projects, which were not only challenging, but risked the nation’s reputation, namely the Bundaran HI-Lebak Bulus MRT (Mass Rapid transportation) Route in Jakarta.
