Sasaran strategis TI yang efektif mencakup tiga aspek utama, yaitu: peningkatan kegunaan TI di lokasi proyek ( onsite), kantor pusat ( off-site), dan back office, serta penyelarasan sistem digital backbone dan operasional yang terintegrasi. Saat ini, terdapat tempat inisiatif strategis (Tabel 6) untuk mendukung 8 stream penyehatan WIKA, yang menjadikan TI sebagai enabler dalam membangun fondasi transformasi digital WIKA guna meningkatkan daya saing dan pencapaian strategi bisnis ke depan. Dilokasi proyek, penggunaan teknologi seperti Building Information Modeling (BIM), sistem manajemen konstruksi berbasis cloud, serta integrasi data ERP dengan Internet of Things (IoT) dan perangkat atau sensor yang terhubung memungkinkan pemantauan dan pengelolaan proyek secara real-time. Hal ini juga meningkatkan akurasi dan kecepatan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Di kantor pusat, teknologi informasi mendukung analisis big data untuk perencanaan strategis dan manajemen proyek yang lebih efektif, sementara otomatisasi proses administratif di back office melalui sistem ERP meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi operasional. Selain itu, perusahaan dapat memanfaatkan platform kolaborasi digital untuk memfasilitasi komunikasi antara semua pemangku kepentingan proyek. 1.6 IT/Digitization In a construction company focused on infrastructure and EPC, the strategic objectives of information technology (IT) play a key role in aligning technological excellence with the company’s business strategy. Effective IT strategic objectives include three main aspects: enhancing the usability of IT on project sites (on-site), at the head office (off-site), and in the back office, as well as aligning the digital backbone systems with integrated operations. Currently, there are four strategic initiatives (Table 6) to support WIKA’s eight revitalization streams, positioning IT as an enabler in building WIKA’s digital transformation foundation to enhance competitiveness and achieve future business strategies. As an enabler, IT facilitates improvements in efficiency and productivity through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies. On project sites, the use of technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), cloud-based construction management systems, as well as the integration of ERP data with Internet of Things (IoT) and connected devices or sensors, enables real-time project monitoring and management. This also improves accuracy and speed in decision-making. At the head office, information technology supports big data analysis for strategic planning and more effective project management, while automation of administrative processes in the back office through ERP systems enhances operational efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, the company can leverage digital collaboration platforms to facilitate communication between all project stakeholders.
